Extensive Ex-tensive reparations are being made tor the seventeenth annua! tournament of the Vmerican Bowling congress, which takes place here next month. Entries are being received from ail bowling center? 716 fives being entered so far. The largest entry to date is Chicago's with 125 teams. This delegation breaks all records lor the number of teams attending the national na-tional meet. Grand Rapids shows 15fi clubs entered, about seventy short of tiie local entry at Toledo last year. Chicago and Detroit picking up most of tiie deficit. Next to Chicago. Detroit has tiie best showing with seventy-five clubs. Milwaukee, the home of tiie national secretary, shows thirty-three teams; Cleveland. President a smew's residence, shows thirty clubs; Indianapolis and Toledo To-ledo seventeen each, both towns being bidders for the 1910 congress: Cincinnati and Fort Wayne have eleven clubs entered en-tered : Peoria thirteen, Louisville and St. Louis ten each.
