Show Hot Food in the Trenches The French soldiers on the fighting front are supported by thousands of carefully organized auxiliary troops, none of whom are more efficient than the cooks who furnish meals for the men in the trenches with unfailing regularity. The food is usually prepared out of doors and the work is done systematically, each detail of the j operations being looked after with painstaking precision. A separate organization is maintained to get hot food to the men in the trenches. r ' , - cy t m i i |
