Paul, charged with ; neglect of his wife and minor children, ' to appear before Judge C. W. Morse of the Third district court yesterday to an- swer to the charge resulted in a court or- : der that his bond of $100 be forfeited. The : district attorney was Instructed to bring action against his bondsmen for recovery recov-ery of the amount. Like action was taken in the case of George Rowman, held In a bond of the same amount to appear on a similar charge William K. Mackay pleaded not guilty (o a chare of assault with a deadly weapon upon Grant A. Capronl. He is alleged al-leged to have struck Capronl with a hoe on June 24 of this year. Ry order of the court, the bond of June I O'Neill, -of 5500, was forfeited. She was charged with assault with a deadly weapon for an alleged attack upon J. Kilkenny Kil-kenny with a knife. Bond of $250 was ordered forfeited In the case of J. Harris, charged with having hav-ing attempted to bribe Policemen H. D. Lyon and Charles Mabbutt on March IS. 1916. when they arrested him at a hotel. The case against John Fowler, charged with neglect of his minor children, was dismissed upon the motion of the district attorney. |
