OLD EMPLOYEE II TiEfME !S DEAD John Drakefield Passes Away After Many Years of Continuous Service. j John DrakefoKl, custodian for the Tabernacle choir, died at his residence, 451 Goshen street, yesterday, after an illness of several months. Mr. Drake-ford Drake-ford had seen twenty-nine years of service at the Tabernacle and he was highly esteemed by all with whom he camo in contact. Mr. DraUet'ord was born at Cougel-tou, Cougel-tou, Cheshire, England, February 1, 1S52. He was baptized into the Mormon Mor-mon church in S7(i and came to Utah in 1885. Ho was a high priest of the Twenty-fifth ward, Pioneer stake. He was the father of twelve children. A widow and the following children survive sur-vive him: Lorenzo Drakeford, Mrs. J. K. Wallace, I'armingtou; Mrs. J. II. Holder, Hol-der, Mrs. R. C. Fereryear, Mrs. G. C. Hauhert, Arizona; Mrs.' K. C. Howe and La.wrrnc.e. A1vi-1 anrl ri..u. , villus JlrtlW ford.
