"The Drug Terror," Shown at tlie Salt! ! Lake Theater, Teaches a Valu- able Life Lesson. fci'pHE Drug Terror," a moving picture which has been the sensation of many states n the union, was the feature fea-ture last night at the Salt Lake theater. The lesson carried by this highly -interesting film is apparent, and there can be no doubt as to the' benetits which will accrue to those who are unfamiliar with the suffering and want caused by the use of the deadly narcotics. The story tells of a young" drug clerk turned adrift by his employer and a son-in-law of the employer who has been subjected to the use of "coke," and a daughter made a "fiend" through her j association with her husband. The son-in-law, skulking through the underworld in quest always of the narcotic, is thrown out of that miserable refuge for defending defend-ing his own sister. Knowing of the presence pres-ence of dope in the home of his father-in-law, he goes there, only to be repulsed, re-pulsed, whereupon he sets fire to the house, and he and the druggist, who has become rich by reason of his nefarious sales, die together in the flames. This evening at 7::!0 o'clock all the newsboys of the city will be admitted free. |
