Show WILLARD'S MANAGER ARRIVES IN CITY Jack Curley. well-known sporting man and promoter, who at the present time is widely known as the manager of Jess Willard, arrived In Salt Lake yesterday j as the advance aeent of the Sells-Floto circus, with which Willard is traveling at the present time. Cyrley says that Willard, who will appear ap-pear here in about a week. Is quite fond ot Salt Lake. Curley explains That perhaps per-haps Die reason is that the big fellow can walk through the wide streets of the city without dancer of bumping Into thc buildings which line the way. Curley says that Willard Is never so tied up with Die circus that he cannot get away to tigtit whenever the logical opponent turns up. "Willard is not afraid of any of them." Curley s-ays. "At the present time It looks as though Fulton will be the' first opponent for Jess. but the numerous bouts on Labor day may bring forth another an-other man who is more deserving. If Mornn should defeat Carl Morris. Moran's supporters would probably say that he Is pood enough over the long route to met Willard. On the other hand, if Morris should win. I do not see how we can deny him a bout." |
