Show OLSON AND CORLESS SPEAK TO SHOPMEN C. L. Olson-and J. S. Corless, Democratic-Progressive nominees for tlie state senate and county sheriff, respectively, addressed an enthusiastic noonday meeting meet-ing of the Denver & Rio Grande shopmen shop-men at the shops yesterday. Alfred Smith en acted as chairman of the meeting. Mr. Olson made the principal talk and , his attacks upon the Republican party were greeted in every instance by prolonged pro-longed applause. He said. In part: It ia only necessary that the issues of this campaign be senerally understood under-stood in order to insure Democratic success. Ii is to be expected thai every ev-ery man who believes that tlie possessor pos-sessor of great wealth, however accumulated, ac-cumulated, should be crowned with honors and class distinction and that labor organizations should he destroyed, de-stroyed, and every snob and everv sycophant in such a system will voiii for Charles Evans Hughes. |
