Show STRIKERS' DEMANDS ARE AGAIN REFUSED EATONXE, X. J.. Oct. 17. The demands de-mands of the striking Standard Oil em-plovees em-plovees were again refused today when a committee representing tiie strikers conferred con-ferred with George P. Ilennessy, superin-, tendent of the Standard Oil company's main plant. The committee was appointed appoint-ed vesterday as the result of a mass meeting' meet-ing' arranged bv the city authorities. Superintendent Ilennessy informed the committee, it was reported, that he would deal with them when they dropped their wage demands. He said the company was ready to grant or arbitrate the other demands de-mands regarding working conditions and rearrangement of hours. |
