Jensen ot the Mutual Crea m ery c om pany , have returned from a tour of southern Utah, during whih they made arrangements with farmer? for placing 8000 dairy I cows within the next year on farms in territorv tributary to alt Lake. So great has been the demand for the cows to be imported that it is believed that the original estimate of 20,000, to be placed on the farms in this vicinity dur-tnc dur-tnc the coming year, will be exceeded. The average aver-age cut of each cow is $95. The company has already al-ready arranged for all tho cows ncces-san- to fill the immediate wants of the farmers. Carl vie Hall of the creamery company will depart today for the east, to he gone sever months looking after the purchase of these cattle. The Wells Fargo Kx press company has assigned .1. H. I.yngar of Denver, traveling agent in charge of dairy extension ex-tension work, to assist the creaniery eompanv in placing dairy cows among the farmers. Mr. l.yngar arrived here vesterdnv and leaves today for Oreen-river Oreen-river to meet with the farmers of that City. They have already made application applica-tion fnr fortv seven cows and have indicated in-dicated that they may decide to double this number. Mr. Uyngar will also go to Grand Junction' to meet with the farmers. A trainload of cattle will be brought within the near future to Grand June-t June-t inn for t he f armers of western Colorado Colo-rado and eastern T'tah. The second shipment will probably go to Richfield, Ctah, where ninny dairy cows are want I'd for the vicinity of Richfield and for points as far south ns Circlevillo.
