Show GUARANTY COMPANY PAYS IDAHO CLAIM Salt Lake Concern Makes Good Shortage Short-age of Former Deputy Game Warden Nesbit. The United States Fidelity 4- Onar antv company of Salt Lake has forwarded for-warded a check for .66l.03 in favor of the state of Idaho to its representative representa-tive in Boise to cover the state's claim against the official bond of H. E. es-bit. es-bit. a former deputy state game warden, located at Saudpoint. who is charged with failure to account for all licenses issued bv him while in the state's em-plov. em-plov. ft is understood that the state of Idaho has accepted the check as full settlement of its claim on Nesbit 's bond carried by the Fidelity company. Nesbit was a deputy warden and as such fish and game licenses were issued is-sued to him. At the end of each year the deputies are supposed to account for all licenses issued to them, either in cash or by their return. Nesbit, it ie said, declared that he reLurned all unsold licenses and sent in money for those sold, but when State Oame 'Warden 'War-den Jones took charge of the department depart-ment he checked Nesbit short (518.35 for 19)3 and 117.7o for 1914. Nesbit Nes-bit insisted that if the records did not show the licenses properly accounted for it was through an error on the part of someone other than himself. Tbe matter was taken up with the bonding company. The claim was investigated in-vestigated and Accepted as correct. It is understood that the bonding company will seek to recover the amount froiu Nesbit. |
