Hotel Jefferson Koney issued a s gned statement In which he "aid that under no circumstances would be return to the Pittsburg flub or any club ln organised baseball. Koney s statement follows I desire to inform the baseball fans of this country that I have s gned a contract to play f rst base for the Pittsburg Federals for the seasons of 1915 16 17 and that I am more than sat sfled with the terms of said con tract and Intend to do as I always have done and give my very best ef forts to the club at a 1 times.
