Show SUPPLIES PURCHASED. Another Car of Food Ready for Shipment to Belgium. Special to The Tribune. OGDEN', Dec. 211. With A. R. Key-wood Key-wood and the Rev. J. E. Carver acting for tho executive committee of tho .European .Eu-ropean War Relief society of Ogden, fifty oases of Utah pork and beans and $100 worth of Utah condensed milk was purchased pur-chased today for shipment to the sufferers suf-ferers In Belgium. Even these extensive purchases did not exhaust the supply of cash donations received by the society's solicitors. The purchases complete the bill of supplies for the first carload of goods to be shipped from Ogden. The car will contain 750 cases of canned goods, one ton of flour, one-half ton of dried peas and beans, clothing, blankets and other articles. According to officers of the society, so-ciety, the car will be loaded Wednesday for consignment to Portland over the Oregon Short Line railroad. |
