Tho soups are of the caiehy order and are rendered by good voices. There in a plot, of course, but not sullicient to distract the audience from the revelry of fun produced by the comedians. Cyclonic .jugliufj is presented by the Five Mowatts, four men and a boy. The act presents at times the bewildering -scent of the stage bcinc filled with living clubs, and it is noted lor the clover work, speed and dexterity showu by the quintet to of judders." iSeem-irigly iSeem-irigly impossible feats are introduced and the audience is left in amazement at the skill displayed by the performers, perform-ers, who at times staud half hidden in the maze of clubs. Pick Gardner and Anna Kevere will take off a goodly share of the comedy honors. Gardner is a versat ile comedian, come-dian, and bo shares his fun with the audience in liberal style. He is clever in thp art of burlesque and ntilix.es acts nreecdintr him in dispensing laughter. Miss Revere is an able assist aut to him and charms with her personality. The La Touraine Four, an organization organiza-tion that has met with popular favor, will appear in a repertoire of operatic aud popular selections. They are said to have splendid individual voices and delightful hatmcmy. The Two Kerns, a man and woman, are also mirth-provokers in their sketch, "After the Fair." As typical Rubes they mingle acrobatic feats of a new and diilicult character with laughable comedy. Their makeup and mannerisms manner-isms are said to add materially to the comedy. Modesta Mortensen. who is making her tirst appearance on the Pantages circuit, is a talented concert violin isto. Popular approval has made her a success suc-cess on the vaudeville stage. Fitzpatriek 's concert orchestra, in a splendid musical programme, and .the Mutual Weekly, showing the latest in the news events of the. world, will complete com-plete the programme. |
