A TEMPORARY organization of . the FaH Lake baseball club of r"" the Pacific Coast league was; perfected yesterday afternoon at a meeting held at tlie Hotel Utah. George F. "Watson, a well-knovru attorney, at-torney, member-elect of the board of education, and last year counsel for the Salt Lake club, was chosen chairman of tbe temporary board. II. W. Lane waa ubosen secretary. Tbe other names which appear on the list of the temporary tempo-rary organization are, M. K. Evans, last year owner of the Boise club; George O. Kelt', manager of the Hotel Utah, and last year president of the Salt Lake club; the Rev. Elmer I. Goshen, C. Ed Moss, of the Aetna Life Insurance company; com-pany; C. E. Groesbeck, of tbe Utah Light & Power company; J. H. Mander-field, Mander-field, of the Salt Lako route; Claude Freed, of the Fred Furniture and Car-net Car-net comnanv: A. B. Annerson. of the Denver & Bio Grande railroad; George S. Auerbach, of the Auerbaeh Brothers interests; C. L. McFaul, of the Southern Pacific railroad; J. F. Langford, Sr., Majestic park amusement resort; D. S. Spencer and Fred H. Knickerbocker, of the Oregon Short Line. Rodger T. Badger, cashier of the Utah State National bank, was named trustee. 4 Evans Chosen Delegate. M. R. Evans was chosen as a delegate dele-gate to tbe Coast league meeting in San Francisco next week. Mr. Evans is now at Carson City, New, and is expected to proceed from that place to San Francisco. The temporary organization will receive re-ceive and solicit "subscriptions for stock to the amount of $50,000. When this amount shall have been subscribed the subscribers will be called upon for half of their subscriptions, to be deposited with Mr. Badger. At a subsequent meeting in Mr. Was-son's Was-son's office, Cliff Blankenship, who is slated for the ,iob of manager of the club, was called into conference. He was not "officially" signed, but will consult with Messrs. Lane and Wasson until he is regularly elected by tbe permanent per-manent organization. 'We did not feel that we were justified justi-fied in signing Blankenship," said Mr. Wasson, "until we are absolutely sure that the project, will go through. He will, no doubt, be signed by the permanent per-manent organization, which I think will be perfected within a few days. Meanwhile Mean-while he will consult with Mr. Lane and myself respecting any matters that may affect the. club." Says Prospect Is Good. As to the outlook for the success of the enterprise, Mr. Wasson said: "The outlook is good. I think everything every-thing will go through as planned and that" the $50,000 will be forthcoming. Mr. Evans will represent the club at the meeting of the directors of the Coats league at San Francisco, at which time the first payment to the league will be made."
