The mys- terv surrounding the killing last night of Beatrice Bailey, aged G years, who was struck by a bullet that came through a window at the home of her grandmother at Buckshutem, near here, where sho was spending the holidays, was cleared up to-dav to-dav when George Mann, 1T years old, was arrested and confessed, according to tho poltce, that he had accidentally shot the child while trying to kill his sweetheart. The little victim was the daughter of Mrs. William Bailey of this place. She was seated at the supper table with other members of the family of her grandmother, grand-mother, Mrs. George Pettit, when the bullet came through the window.
