She was a daughter of James It. and Margaret Simmons .Rawle of Morgan and was born Febru-jar- y 12, 1890. She was married to 'Mr. Forrest March 6, 1924. Sur-- ' viving are ner husband and one daughter, Wilhelmina Forrest of Morgan; five sisters and two brothers. Mrs. George E. gan of Union was a sister. At-tending services from here were Mrs. V. S. Members of the two families have LOCAL NOTES Edith Leathervvood's friends friends will be glad to hear that she has enrolled at the Jewell dancing studio in Los Angeles j FUNERAL RITES SET FOR TIL LIE CHRISTENSEN Mrs. Tillie Christensen, 77, died Wednesday at 2:30 a.m. in a Salt Lake hospital of carcino-ma. A resident of Bingham, she was hospitalized about a year ago. bhe was born in Sweden, Feb-ruary 29, 1864. Her husband, Al-fred Christensen, died in 1924. The only known survivior is a nephew in Texas. Funeral services will be con-ducted Saturday at 11 a.m. in the Bingham mortuary chapel by the Rev. Meredith Smith. Burial will be in Bingham cemetery. Friends may call Saturday at the mortu-ary prior to the services. ... .. National Art Week To Start November 17th National Art week, beginning November 17, will be observed in Salt Lake City with exhibitioj of paintings by Utah artists. The purpose of the country-wid- e ob-servance is to promote the sale of works of American artists. and an exhibition of paintings will be held at 7 p.m., Monday, November 17, at the Art Center on State street, Salt Lake City. The public is invited to attend and refreshments will be served.
