Mr. and Mrs. Jenkins are expected to return home Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Miller of Copperton entertained at dinner din-ner Sunday for Mr. and Mrs. Jack Householder and son, Boyd, and Mr. and Mrs. Jack Whitmore a two-week visit in Ocean Park, California. Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Hilton of Murray were guests Saturday evening of Mr. and Mrs. Alton Angus. A foursome met at the home of Mrs. Charles Bates for an evening ev-ening of bridge Monday. Mrs. John Stanoway played high, Mrs. Leo Brisk low. Mrs. Grant Hodges Hodg-es was the other guest. A late luncheon was served. Mr. and Mrs. Louis Laris of Roosevelt spent Sunday and Monday with Mrs. Laris' brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Christ Apostal. Mr. and Mrs. Harold R. Barton of Apex Mine had Jesse M. Southwell South-well as dinner guest Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Louis Babcock of Ogden spent Sunday with Mrs. Babcock's parents. Mr. and Mrs. S. T. Nerd in. George Bihler is at Bingham hospital for a rest and treatment. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Spendlove spent November 6 in Salt Lake City with their son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Max Spendlove, at their new home at 1177 Yale avenue. Miss Helen English of Junction, a district health nurse, came home Saturday. Her mother, Mrs. Mamie English of Dry Fork, was taken seriously ill last Friday Fri-day but is reported recovering satisfactorily. Mr. and Mrs. Elliott E. Smith and family of American Fork were dinner guests Sunday of Mrs. B. C. Snyder of the Copper hotel. Mrs. John J. Creedon is getting along fine following a tonsillec- LOCALNOTES On November 5 Mrs. Victor Olson Ol-son entertained the Lead Mine sewing club. Present for a social afternoon and nicely-served lun- cheon were Mrs. George Kamp-ros, Kamp-ros, Mrs. Nick P. Floros, Mrs. Adrian Jensen, Mrs. Alger Baum and Mrs. Mike Nepolis. Mrs, Baum entertained the same group Wednesday. O. G. Muir was taken to St. Mark's hospital where he underwent under-went an operation Wednesday morning. His condition is reported report-ed fair. Mr. and Mrs. James Beckstead of Salt Lake City were guests Tuesday of Mr. and Mrs. James Rawlings. Mr. Beckstead is an uncle of Mrs. Rawlings.
