Guests were Gloria Peterson, Bobbie Blake, Glenn and Lynn Pett. Progressive games were played and a light luncheon served. ser-ved. Arthur Durnford, son of Mr. and Mrs. L. L. Durnford, this ween became a member ot Alpha Al-pha Chi Sigma, honorary chemical chemi-cal fraternity at the University of Utah. Durnford Is a senior in the school of engineering and is serving as secretary of the Engineers En-gineers council. He was recently appointed chairman of the refreshment re-freshment committee for the annual an-nual "Engineers' Stew", to be held Nov. 19. A one o'clock bridge luncheon was given Wednesday by Mrs. E. V. Knudsen. The large table was covered with a lace cloth and centered with a bowl of chrysanthemums. Thanksgiving favors were at places arranged for Mrs. M. B.
