Show COMMITTEES URGED TO COMPLETE WORK Jensen Advises Members to Submit ' Legislation as Early as Possible. Standing committees of tho Commercial Commer-cial club are being urged to clean up tho work that is before them before the fir:-t of tho year. President W. V. Jensen yestcrday made this recommendation to the chairmen chair-men and vino chairmen ot tho committees, com-mittees, at a meeting held in the "gold room." Hcveral of the committees have important im-portant matters in hand. One of the principal ones is the investigation of the possibilities of Salt l.ako aH a livestock market. Exhaustive search into this question is being made by a special committee, ot which P. M. Han-dull Han-dull is chairman. The president also urged that committees com-mittees which would like to propose legislation for the forthcoming session of the state lawmakers, prepare their bills early and have them ratified by the board of governors, so that tho acceptable ac-ceptable ones may be introduced early in tho legislative session. Last cession fome of the, bills urged by the club were not introduced until late in the session, when the senate, and house were buried in a rush of work. |
