Show JORDAN HANDS DEFEAT TO GRANITE TEAM Jordan 8 Granite 5 Granite high school met its first defeat de-feat of the season at the hands of Jordan yesterday by a score of S to 0. The score was tied In the first of the fifth inning and remained tied until the last inning, when Jordan started a rally which gol thorn three .runs. The Sandy men are good hitters and had no trouble" In finding the Granite pitchers. The gamo yesterday was the first they won this season. It caused much reiolclng among the students. Moro Jordan than Granite rooters were at the game. Petorson started the game in the box for Granite, but was rollovcd by Ed Howell in tho seventh Inning. Howell held the Jordan men to one hit until the ninth Inning, when four hits were made. Jensen twirled for the Sandy men and held the Granlto men down. Five errors were made by Jordan. Tho lineup.
