Show WANTS NEW RAILROAD. Ogden Publicity Bureau Will Urge Construction Con-struction of Uintah Basin Road. Special to The Tribune. OGDEN. Feb. 10. The decision to enter en-ter Into a determined campaign In an effort to secure a railroad Into the TJlntah basin country was reached at a meeting or the Ogden publicity bureau directors this afternoon, following a suggestion sug-gestion to this effect from A. P. Blgo-low, Blgo-low, cashier of the Ogden State bank. The plan as proposed for a working basis is the extension by the Union Pacific railroad of its present lino to Park City With this end In view Socretary .T. D. Larson of thn hureau has communicated communi-cated with R. S. Collett of Roosevelt, asking for a compiled report of the resources re-sources of the Uintah country. This, with other Information, will be put Into the hands of the railroad officials. The Interest of Ogden In the matter centers in tho fact tliat the northern terminus of the Park City branch Is at Echo, on the main line, east of this cltv and which would make Ocrden the tributary point for the vast riches of the basin.
