Show GLENN LOSES FEES IN A UNIQUE MANNER Testifies That Ho Is Member of Police Department and "Payment Is Bcfused. Another demand for back salary was mado upon the city commission last night by Hugh L. Glenn, formerly of tho police department. Glenn was removed re-moved February 1, but ho maintains that his resignation was obtained by false pretenses and. accordingly is acting act-ing upon tho theory that he is still a member of tho police department, not having been rightfully and logally removed. re-moved. This time Glenn wants salary for February, March and April, and he threatens to sue the city if it is uot forthcoming. Several days ago Glenn was called by tho city as a witness in a gambling caso on trial iu the district court. Asked his occupation, Glenn replied that ho -was a member of the police department. ''You are sure of that, aro vou?" abked W. H. Folland, assistant, city attorney. Glenn, replied) that he was sure of it, and so the attorney let it go at that. Tho next day Glenn applied' to Folland.
