News of tho arrival in Vera Cruz of tweuty-six Americans aurl other foreigners JProm Mexico City was communicated to t.uc state department tonicht. The train flew German and English flags. Among the Americans were A. II. TurnbulL San Francisco; James Punshon, Salt Lake City; I?. Chatman, San Francisco; W. B. Crawford, San Jose; Arthur Law, Los Angeles. The city directory docs not show the name of Punshou among the residents of Salt Lako, but shows' that two persons per-sons of that name aie employed by the Garfieldi Smelting company lit Garfield. It is quite likely that James Punshon is a smelterman and has been emplovcd in that capacity in tho interior ot Mexico. |
