Show mmm id W OOUUVERS MEET Question of Baling Clips Is Principal Matter Under Discussion. A deferred meeting of wooigrowers and woolbuyerx was held In the Hotel Utah yesterday afternoon for tho purpose of discussing the question of baling wool. There was a good representation from both, buyers and growers and tho details of the matter were thoroughly gone over. At the close of the mooting, a. resolution was unanimously passed which was in effect that sheepmen in I the west do not advocate haling of wool under Us present preparation for market mar-ket until such a time as baling will be beneficial Instead of dertlmontal. Letters were read from eastern firms at the meeting protesting against th system of baling. Reasons set forth axe that wool when baled beconfes packed and hard and is difficult to examine, which injures It In the sight of the buver. An article In the October Ui, 1012. PrultL The contending questions are that wool can be sent cheaper over tho railroads If It Is baled and the buyers say It will -sell cheaper, so that the lower freight rates will more than he balanced.
