Show RULE PLANT IHlHOiPLETE Operations Under Control of New York Concern to Begin Be-gin at Early Date. Special to The Tribune. OGDEN, Oct. 1. The new Rlverdale power plant of the Davis nnd Weber Counties Canal company will be completed com-pleted and turned over to the Electric Bond & Shave company of New York within ton days, according to A. W. Agec, attorney for the canal company. J- L. Dame, who has been handling the affairs of the New York company in this locality, will negotiate the final transfer of the plant, which was purchased by his company for ?52o,000. The contract Provides that the ?125.000, the balance of the purchase price, shall be paid over to tho canal company when tho plant is turned over ready for operation. Mr. Ageo believes that the New York company will place the hydro-electric I station in operation at once aB several , contracts for electric power wero completed com-pleted before tho plant was sold. The faa t Lake & Ogden Railway company will uso S5000 worth of current each month and the Merchants Light & Power company la to be another large user of power. The farmers using the water for irrigation after it has pissed through the plant have been fully protected pro-tected in their rights. |
