CHURCH HEAD IS GIVEN WATCH FOB In honor of his seventy-fifth birthday, which occurred November 13, Joseph F. Smith, president of the Mormon church, was presented with a beautiful gold fob bearing an explanatory Inscription, by the general board of the V. M. M. I. A. last night. The presentation speech was mndo by Benjamin Goddard. The fob was made by local Jewelers nnd is considered one of the finest ever made here. In the center on one side of the medallion appears the monogram "M. I. A." in raised gold letters, and around the rim is the motto of the association. asso-ciation. "The Glory of God Is Intelligence." Intelli-gence." On the opposite side Is tho inscription, in-scription, "From tho members of the general board to .Joseph F. Smith, general gen-eral superintendent of the Y. M. M. I. A., on his seventy-fifth birthday. 13 November. No-vember. 11)13." The ring from which tho medallion Is suspended and through which the ribbon passes, Is set with seven diamonds.
