Show BIDS ON BRIDGES HELD IN ABEYANCE At a moetlng of the state road commission, com-mission, held yesterday ariernoon In the Felt building, ten bids were opened for the construction of utx steel bridges In this state. As a number of the contractors contrac-tors submitted alternate plans, tho letting let-ting of the contracts tas postponed until un-til tomorrow, in order that tho various propositions may bc checked up. The largest of the. bildgcs will be a sixty-two-foot span 1 si Sevlor county, and another bridge, fifty-two feet In length, will be built. In the same county. The other bridges will be built iu Wasatch and Carbon counties. At yesterday's meellnjj the road commission also designated desig-nated tho road between Colton and Spanish Span-ish Fork an a part of the state highway. Tho stretch of road In nuustion forms a part of the transcontinental road from Grand Junction, Colo., to this city. |
