The passing of the control of the Atlanta At-lanta .Mines company from Henry and Arthur Weber and their associates to the Weir syndicate, Including George Winglicld, former Senator Thomas Kearnn of Utah and Chris Zabrisklc, representing 'Borax" Smith of Oakland, has all but been accomplished. The postponed reorganisation meeting of tho Atlanta Mines company was held In Phoenix, Ariz., Thursday and Friday of last week, at which time the preliminary prelim-inary details of the transfer of control were arranged. Among the stockholders stockhold-ers In attendance upon the. session were Henry Weber and Augustus Tllden of Goldlleld, who held proxies representing 1.200,000 shares of the original capitalization, capitaliza-tion, which had been Increased from 2.000,000 to 5,000.000 non-asseuauble shares of the pur value or si each. The stockholders voted to deliver 1,350,000 shares to the Weir syndicate for the payment of flOO.OOO c;ish. The money will be placed on deposit with John S. Cook & Co., bankers, to the credit of the company upon tho arrival here of the members of the syndicate and their election as directors and officers to replace the present board, elected at the reorganization meeting and composed com-posed of Henry and Arthur Weber, Augustus Au-gustus Tllden. Hen Ilenloy and Fred Pressor, all of Cleveland. According to the terms of the deal, the purchase of the 1.250,000 shares of the reorgani'.ed company carries with it the control of its affairs. In addition lo the $l00j)00 lo be paid in by the syndicate, the company com-pany treasury will also include 1.630.000 shares or the Increased capitalization. H Is understood that the future development de-velopment of the Atlanta property will be prosecuted from the 1100-foot level of (lie Grizzly Bear shaft of the Consolidated Con-solidated by means of a lone crosscut to the south.
