The main event of the evening was I h gmiie between the. Y. M. C. A. flint team and the Burlington Athletic an-H)cIatIon an-H)cIatIon team. The Y. M. C A. men were somewhat at a loss In gel ting their hearings during the first, luilf because of the dim lighting and Jho baskets being be-ing suspended from tho end wills. The game wiis rough and exciting throughout, and It was late in tho second sec-ond half when the Y. M. C. A. team started a fusillade of baskets that resulted re-sulted In the final score of 10 to 35. The Burlington team was successful In scoring scor-ing the first three field baskets and In winning the first half by the score of IS to 1. Tho second half started with an entire new lineup on the pari of the Y. M. C. A. team. On the offen-slvo offen-slvo Wilcox. Captain Moser. Hammond and Crnndfor played the best games for the Y. M. C. A., and rihaUs for the Burlington Bur-lington team scored 19 of tho 35 points. On th defensive Flandro and Konin did excellent work fop the Y. M. C. A., while ('upturn Eiicksoii was much In evidence for the Burlington team. On ono occasion the spectators took exceptions to a decision made by Referee Gunn and rushed upon the floor, urging him to change his decision.
