Years of effort on tho part of the staunch supporters sup-porters to get his name added to the list were rewarded todav by tho announcement announce-ment of Dr. John 1 1. MacCracken. chairman chair-man of the senate of New York university, univer-sity, that tho author of "Tho Raven." with ten others, had been accorded this honor. The eleven names added follow: Harriet Bcecher Stowc, 74 votes; Oliver Wendell Holmes and Edgar Allan Poe, 69 votes each: Roger Williams. 64; James Fcnlmorc Cooper, 62: Phllllp3 Brooks, 60; William Cullcn Bryant, 59: Frances E.
