Show BYRON WYOMING OIL FIELD IS PROGRESSING T-.FcdrT.KoIler' superintendent of the Ltah-Wyomlng Oil company, is in the xvn?.m ithii coninar'y properties in oming looking for an expert driller. He says the operators are doing considerable consid-erable work on tho properties at Byron and some new wells have come in. Hla company is engaged in drilling its No. 5 well, which Its officials believe will be the largest spoutcr in the camp. The well is down 1435 feet and the drills aro going through oil shale, which would be productive of a paying amount of material ma-terial If their pipe were perforated to allow al-low It to come in. They will continue the drive until thev roach th nil no where they expect to get tho big flow. They expect to got into the oil region within the next 150 feet, and will also drill other wells. At the Montana-Wyoming ground another an-other well has been brought in. The new spoutcr is about 200 feet south of the company's No. 5 well, and for a. time threw up a stream to a considerable height. They now have tho pipe plugged up to pump from later on. TJiis company com-pany has a pipe line five and one-half miles in length, from the wells to tho railroad station at Cowley, where the refinery re-finery is.
