injuries to be of a danger our character robinson went into the shop tuesday night and went to sleep iu a chair about 6 a gang of loafers who hang about the place poured a quart of alcohol over the warrants were issued for one green buck tyler frank thompson and john proctor charged with the crime they will be held tu await the result of the injuries TWO MURDERERS ESCAPE JAIL special to the COLUMBIA S C dec 9 whitfield murrell and william carpenter the two young toughs who without the slightest provocation shot to death young preston younce on the public highway in edgefield county last july and who were recently sentenced to be hanged january ad next escaped from edgefield jail this morning about daybreak he occupied a cell on the second floor the jailers jailors jai lors remarkable
