"The train will reach .San Francisco at noon on the 24th. On tho 22nd tho first train will leave San Francisco at 0 p. ra. and arrive In the new terminal hero at 8 a. mfl on the 24ih. The consist will bo a otandard and a tourist from and to Denvor on tho Rio Grande, which will corne In on No. 3 and go out on No. C of that road. ' "In addition, the train will carry a Btandard from Salt Lake to San 1-ran-olsco and return, one diner, two chair cars, one dav couch and one baggage, a total of eight cars. A feature of this servlco Is that It gives all passengers arriving ar-riving on the morning and afternoon trains a stop-over In Salt Lake nnd also gives to the people of Salt Lake their own standard sleeper from this city to San Francisco, with all the space reserved re-served for Salt Lake and no delays arising aris-ing from dclnyed space telegrams. The reason the time is slow at first Is to allow the perfecting of details. This Is but a temporary card, and later. In thirty to sixty davs, I feel confident that mat-ers mat-ers will he so adjusted that a much Vhorter schedulo can be put Into effect.
