Richards of Salt Lake City, Utah, was operated upon here today for un affection of the stomach. Tho operation opera-tion Included a removal of a portion of tlie stomach which was In an ulcerated condition. Dr. Richards rallied well nftor the ordeal and tho attonding surgeons pay that tho patient Is In excellent condition, con-dition, with every prospect for a rapid recovery. Mombcrs of tho family are hero and will remain until all danger of complication has passed.
