Of these cases ono was for disturbing the peace, six for potit larcony and three for breaking break-ing the curfew ordinance of Fillmore. All woro released on probation and subsequently sub-sequently allowed tn go. Mr. Giles says he has experienced difficulty, under thc law, in holding delinquent de-linquent children to answer to thc juvonilc court. Thero appears to bo provision in tho law authorizine the probation officer to place delinquents under thc control of parcuts or olhcr3 , who can ho held responsiblo for thi delinquents' de-linquents' appearance in court when desired. Mr. Giles suggests that thc law be remedied in this respect. |
