Show Brigham Court Notes Special to Tho Tribune. BRIGHAM" CITY. Jan. S. Mrs. Lars Mortensen died at her homo In the First ward early Tuesday morning, tho causo of death being leakage tf the heart. Mrs. Mortensen was born In Denmark. Juno 30, lSS-l, nnd was one of the early settlers set-tlers of this city. She leaves, besides her husband, four children, who are all living In this city. They arc Mrs. Mary Chrls-tenson. Chrls-tenson. airs. Carolina Wagstaft, Lars Mortensen, Jr., and Mrs. Nora 'Isaacson. Funeral services were held Thursday In the First ward meeting house. Tuesday the 9-year-old daughter of Mr. , and Mrs. John Rasmussen died, tho causo of death being tumor of tho brain. The little girl had been an Invalid for about three years. Pcdcrsen of Logan held a session of the juvenllo court In this city Tuesday. Two Japs, living at Perry, appeared before the court for procuring liquor for minors. The hoys were severely reprimanded and tho Jnps were fined 20. A. young man of Trcmonton was fined S15 for encouraging the delinquency of a younger brother. A numbor of boys fronk Garland appeared before tho court, charged with being Indiscriminately care-lesa care-lesa with firearms and purchasing liquor for minors. In each case the judge administered ad-ministered a severe reprimand, and the young man who bought the liquor was placed on probation. During the first of the week flro destroyed de-stroyed tho home, furniture and all the belongings? of Rudolph Korth, north of town. The fire broke out about 6 o'clock In tho morning, tho flro being caused through the explosion of a lamp that had been left burning on account of sick members mem-bers of the family. They barely escaped In their night clothes. This is tho third liro on tho Korth property this year. Mr. Korth had Insurance on the house for $1200 and on tho furniture for $1000., |
