Show ffiliBAIE II PLAH main BANQUET Life Underwriters Will Meet and Dine at Commercial Club Jan. 11. The annual banquet of the Utah Life Underwriters' association, which Is to be held at the Commercial club Saturday evening, January 11, promises not only to eclipse as a banquet anything that has ever been given by tho association; but to be an event full of great consequences lo the life underwriters, especially and through them to the people of this State. It is expected that the attendance will number fully 125, including the members of the association and their guests. There will be present representatives of every life Insurance company which docs business busi-ness in Utah, and there will be In addition many prominent men of the State. Charles S. Tlngey, Secretary of Stale, and ex-offlcio commissioner of Insurance, will 1 be present, and will have something to say about tho manner In which life insurance in-surance business shall be conducted here In the future. Companies in nearly every State are subjected to very strict regulations, and it Is thought by the life underwriters that legitimate companies should be more fully protected than at present.
