Show Catholic Church ST. Ol.AFS PARISH An invitation is extended to .all the women of the parish to j join with the Altar Society ladies for a pot-luck supper, j Tuesday, Jan. 7, at 7 p.m. in the Phillips recreation hall, 'anounced Mrs. George Wilson, 'president. Tom Kelly and Lloyd Cline will serve as hostesses for the evening. I Father Robert Pollock, pastor, pas-tor, joins with the parishioners parishion-ers of St. Olaf's to congratulate congratu-late the choir for the beautiful singing of the solemn high on Christmas day and New Years. Particular thinks go to Mrs. Grant Secrist, directress and Miss Harriet White, organist, and members, Mines. Nicholas Franks, William Frohnen, William Riley, Altx Zugal and Diane Franks; Tony Cristaudo. Daniel Dunn arid Gordon McGregor. Mc-Gregor. Over 130 youngsters were entertained by fetes of magic performed by Grant Peterson, at the annual Christmas party sponsored by the Altar Society, So-ciety, Dec. 28. Miss Grace Lundberg (Bountiful's Story Princess) enchanted all by relating, re-lating, "The Time Before There was a Christmas." The program was arranged for by Mrs. Gordon McGregor, parish par-ish youth activity chairman. Mrs. Blaine Anderson, general gen-eral chairman of the party, wishes to thank those wild helped make the party a success, suc-cess, her committee members Mmes. A special thanks to Earl Sorrels for making the punch and serving it; Walter Price for the oranges and the many other donations. St. Olaf's CYO members feasted, danced and exchanged gifts at a holiday social on Dec. 2tl, announced Joe Winterer, president. Honored guests at the affair included, Michael (ulahan, Miachaci Winterer, p.irish seniinauarians, and Gene Mitchell from the U. S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland, all home for the holidays. |
