Santa Clans -brought little 'Melanie White the mumps for 'Xmas, too bad and will have to report back there after his leave. We are sorry to say that Wilford Averelt is still under the weather and having i trouble with his legs. Thelma I has had to go to bed again iwith the same virus infection she has had for quite some time. Ethel Salisbury spent New j Year's eve at the home of Mr. land Mrs. George lfardwick in Salt Lake where there were a 'group of former friends of her husband's 20th infantry division di-vision present. Miss Janet Schulthies has been home for the holidays visiting with her folks. I Mrs. Mabel Hansen of Idaho Falls, Ida. has been visiting over the holidays with her 'daughter Connie Borrowman and family. She stayed also to greet her new grandson. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Gardner and son spent the week end visiting relatives and many of their friends in Blaekl'ool, Ida We are sorry to hear that misfortune struck again at the Millers. Beverly cut her wrist jbadly Saturday while doing idislies. Quite a few stitches were required. But we are Igiad it wasn't as bad as it ' could have been. 5 The Bond children woke up on Xmas morning to see a beautiful Shetland pony on their lawn with the tag on it ' from Santa. 1 Fred Schulthies folks and 1 sister, Mr. and Mrs. Handel lSehulthies and Colin have been down from Nainpa, Ida. visiting visit-ing during the holidays. On Xmas night the Wilforc Schraodcr family visited ii ' Salt Lake at Will'ord's mother! days by giving Carl a ten day leave so he could spend Xmas at home. This is the last vacation vaca-tion he expects for another :year. Mrs. Ethel Salisbury spent j Xmas clay with her daughter i Louise and Glen East and fam-jily. fam-jily. In the evening her other son Bob nnd his wife Alice 'from Salt Lake came out and1 ,they went and visited friends: 'and other relatives. Glad to hear Harold Hugoc recovered from being in bed 'with the flu over the week end so he was able to return to work again. Florence Peterson is still in the hospital and recovering slowly from her recent illness and operation. Warren Ferguson is confined confin-ed to his home with a bad strep throat infection.
