Show EASTERN NEVADA MINES. The Tribuno' had yesterday a full write-up of the Cherry. Creek and Duck Creek mines, with fifteen illustrations, all occupying a page and a half. On Sunday, September 30th, we gave., a three-page write-up of Ely and its neighborhood, 'including an account of the great railroad day opening, with 1 tho ceremonies attending, and the excursion from Utah points, in which ' such' a. large number of business men took part, all being completely captured by the evidences of immense riches there, both present and prospective. The Tribuno is glad ro present to its readers these great write-ups of that wonderfully favored region. We are convinced that thoru is there the making mak-ing of more than one Butte and Anaconda. Ana-conda. The ore deposits are immensely large; they have been prospected sufii-ciently sufii-ciently to demonstrate their permanence, perma-nence, and they cover such an extensive surface that the mind is lost in the effort to reckon the tonnage of ores thaii can reasonably bo expected, and all of it workable at a good profit. That is undoubtedly the immediately coming ,camp, and its coming is not to be delayed; de-layed; it is coming with a rueii. |
