Miss Dollio DaviB will entertain at a Kensington this afternoon in honor of Miss Susan Sawyer. Mrs. A. I. Hoppaugh will entertain enter-tain informally at cards this afternoon after-noon in -honor of Mi's. E. C. Mc-Cullough. Mc-Cullough. Invitations have been issued for the fair to be given at the Emery-Holmes Emery-Holmes on September 1, for the benefit of the Infants' home. The Misses !Rao .and Olive Bartch entertained at a prettily appointed 500 affair yesterday afternoon in honor of Miss Susan B. Sawyer, one of the autumn bridcB, The rooms were prettily pret-tily decorated with pink and white sweet peas and ferns. The hostesses were assisted during the afternoon by Mrs. William Childs. Six tables were filled with the players and at tho close of. the gamo the prizes were awarded to Miss Sawyer, Miss Helen Bucking-hap Bucking-hap and Miss Beatrice O'Connor. The bridal idea was carried out in the ap-i ap-i pointments and tallv cards, which were decorated with brides and cupids, the ices being" in the form of green and white wedding bolls, A delightful tea was the one given yesterday afternoon by Mrs. J. G. Sawyer Saw-yer in honor of Miss Minnie Dennj' of Butte. Yellow was the color chosen for the decorations nnd the golden glow and Bunfiowcrs were used in profusion. Tall vases and jardinieres were filled with the flowers. A bed of the glow was in the center of the dining-room table, with smaller vases at the corners. Those invited to meet Miss Denny were Mrs. Tred Earls, Mrs. Melvin Sowlcs, Mrs. Percival .O. Perkins, Mrs. Will Druehl, Mrs. Harrv Godwin. Mrs. George T. Badger, Mrs. A. B. Witcher, Mrs. "Will Crone, Miss Mvra Sowles. Miss Lena Wei by. Miss Dais' Ray-bould. Ray-bould. Miss Agatha Berkhoel, Miss Beatrice O'Connor. Misses Ada and Val Murphy, Miss Elsie Dickert. Anness was the hostess of a prottily appointed luncheon yesterday yes-terday afternoon in honor of her guest, Miss "Bessie Chambers of Omaha. The table was decorated with pink and white sweet peas and smilax. Yellow sunflowers and golden glow were used in the hall ana parlors. Beside the guest of honor, covers were laid for Mrs. E. O. Lee, Mrs. O. A. Houuold, Mrs. Charles Peak, Mrs. A. H. Parsons, Mrs. Alfred Peters, Mrs. Charles G. Plummer, Mrs. Benjamin Young, Mrs. Clarence Post, Miss Bessie Williamson. Miss Bess Critzer, Misses Effie aua Lucy Hatch, Misses Florence and Alice Chambers of Omaha, Miss Beth Ward, Miss Martha Watters, Miss Alice Manning, Man-ning, Miss Olive Ferris and Miss Mar' Mayne. Miss Ina Rudy entertained at cards yesterday afternoon. The rooms were prettily "decorated with golden glow and sunflowers, the tally and score cards being Dutch figures. Five tables were filleuwith the players, the prizes being awarded to Miss Virginia Elmer and MisB Phoebe Hardin. The hostess was assisted during the afternoon by Mrs. J. B. Rudy and Mrs. E. Z. Dean. Miss Irene Judges entertained thirty of her friends at an auction party last evening. The guests were enveloped in sheets and willow cases and were then numbered and auctioned to the highest bidder. Tho lawn was strung with many Japanese lanterns. Refreshments were served in the house at small tables, ta-bles, which were prettily decorated with potted ferns and pink sweet peas. The place cards were hand decorated with red auction flags. Mrs. B. F. Bauer entertained at the second of a series of luncheons yesterday yester-day afternoon at the Alta club. The table was effectively decorated with golden glow and covers were laid for eiRht- . . Mrs. Mary S. Turner of Denver is the guest of Judge and Mrs. J. C.
