Quito- recently tho management ran Into a very largo shoot of lead ore in an upraise on the Eldorado tunnel level, and although over 1C0 tons of this body have been extracted, and shipments from It are continuing, there la no change In the ore body except that It Increases In extent with development. Blocking1 Out Hugo Bodies. This body of lead will run -10 per cent In that popular metal, and there are live feet of It In tho upraise nt the present time. In this shoot there Is absolutely no trace of zinc, while on thu opposite side of the same tunnel Is an enormous tonnage ton-nage of zinc oro blocked out that falls to produce even the remotest evidence of lead. It 1b estimated that .fully 20,-C00 20,-C00 tons of this zinc om have been blocked out, while nt other portions of the property prop-erty the management Is constantly adding add-ing to Its already large tonnage of lend. Long- Tunnel Contemplated. In the Delmonte ground of the Scranton Scran-ton mile the company hns lead bodies of vr8t and ns yet undetermined extent, ex-tent, running from lfi to 20 per enrit In that metal. Drifts, raises and winzes hundreds of feet In length have been run along and Into these bodies, and no end of the ore has yet been discovered. It Is the purpose of tho company to run a new tunnel of about 1600 feet lh length which will tap the Delmonte ore bodies at depth, and tho development of this portion of the property will be done entirely en-tirely by this tunnel, which will afford much better Ingress to tho bodies as well as reduco the cost of extraction.
