Meyer, tho American Embassador, had an audience with the Emperor at Peterhof Peter-hof this afternoon which lasted thrco hours. Presumably the matter of pcaco was discussed at length, but nothing can bo ascertained at present regarding what actually took place, as tho embassy declines de-clines lo give out any 'statement. It Is known, howovor, that a long cablegram cable-gram has been sent to Washington giving giv-ing the result of the conference. Mr. Meyer left St. Petersburg at 3 p. m., arriving at Peterhof about an hour later, returning to St. Potcrsburg shortly before S o'clock.
