Police circles are hlghb amused over an incident that came to light on the change uf shift Thursday evening Officer Offi-cer Sullivan, whose beat Is on Second South street, met Detective Raleigh near the Walker ir i n -r and i uiihlentlally told him that a shell game was being worked over on the other side of the street. Raleigh Is on his vacation, but said he would go over and Investigate. He did so. with the result Of finding a large crowd surrounding the city ticket office of tho Salt Lake Route."' Two or three barrels of shells rom the Pacific ocean were recelvod at the local office the other daj and the staff decided to give them away ns souvenirs All through the day boys and men struggled right heartily for these unique souvenlts. It was this crowd that Detective Raleigh Ra-leigh found working the shell game, and the historian declares that he was pretty nngTy whin he found out how his brother officer had fooled him.
