Thero was. owing to the hot weather, a very slim nttendanco nt tho sculon of Oqulrrh encampment en-campment No. 1 last Tuesday and tho canton can-ton held no meeting. A special meeting will bo called by tho department commander, that tho nomination for department officers may be mado this month.
