Widespread domaffo was caused by a thunderstorm of unusual vlolonco, accompanied by a high wind, and a delugo of rain. that, burst over New York and vicinity today. A Webster avenuo trolley car carrying nearly 100 passengers, was struck, the lightning rushing down the trolley pole and grounding through tho tracks.
