Show PIONEER DAY AT DRAPER. Great Preparation Being- Made to Celebrate tho Day. Special to Tho Tribune. DRAPER, Utah. July 13. Draper is preparing to cclebrato Pioneer day In a manner befitting tho day. The Sunday-schools Sunday-schools of Draper, Crescent and Granite are to Join In tho programme for tho, forenoon exercises. And In the afternoon after-noon thero will be all kinds of sports-tug sports-tug of war between Draper and Crescent, foot, horse and blcyclo races, and games of baseball. Considerable sickness prevails In this community. Tho three-year-old son of Samuel and Maud Day died of appendicitis appendi-citis and was burled yesterday. Today tho funeral of Susanna Wright, an old pioneer of Draper, Is being nold. Aunt Susanna, as she was commonly called, was the second wife of William Wright. Sho was sevonty-two years of age, and came to Utah In 1SC0 She made her home In Paradise. Utah, from 1SC1 to 18S3; the balance of tho time her homo has been in Draper. Her husband prccoded her about twenty years ago. Mrs. Roy Boueter Is at SL Mark's hospital, hos-pital, suffering from a complication of diseases. The doctors do not agree as to what tho trouble Is. |
