Most unique uniform, single prize, $500. awarded to Cleveland lodge No. IS. Greatest mllcnge, $500, Bl Paso lodge No. IS2. Lodgo accompanied by greatest number of ladles, $5C0, Bridgeport (Conn.) lodge-No. lodge-No. 1S7. Lodgo having greatest number In line, near-by lodges barred. $500, Erie (Pa.) lodgo No 07. Lodgo having greatest number of men In lino, homo lodges barred, Rochester first, Lockpo'V. seconc. At the afternoon grand lodgo session tho Southern lodges led a fight to secure passage of a resolution debarring saloonkeepers saloon-keepers and others connected with tho liquor traffic from membership in the order The Northern lodges opposed such a movement. Tho matter was laid over. It will probably come up at Denver next year. A resolution to affiliate with tho Canadian Can-adian Order of Elks was defeated. |
