Show LESSEES VERSUS BECK. . Insist Upon Being" Paid for Damages Sustained by Them. A damage suit will soon be filed against tho Bullion-Beck and Champion Mining company by Irwin Sprlggs,' Ollic Baker, Albor Larson and othors, who, about ten months ago, held a lease on tho COO-foot level of tho abovo company's mine, says tho Eureka Reporter. The lease was to the south of tho shaft, and after the leasers had spent considerable money they struck a nlco body of ore, which they followed Into an old stopo a short distance dis-tance from the lino separating the Beck and Eureka Hill mines. Considerable rich ore, it is alleged, has been taken from this stope by tho Eureka IIIH'MIn. Ing company, but thero Is still a largo quantity of this hlgh-grado oro left, but the leasers were not allowed to continue work because of tho suits for damages now pending against the Eureka Hill Mining company. Messrs. Sprlggs, Baker and Larson claim that they aro entitled to tho ore which is in this block of ground co jTrcd by their leaso and will ask for damages In the sum of ?50.000. They havo retained Powers & Marlon eaux to look after tholr interests. |
