Show I THE MAJESTIC SMELTER. Impression nt Milford That It Will Blow in Next Week. A telephone message from Milford during dur-ing the afternoon says that while official offi-cial declaration has not boon made, erough Is known to justify tho belief that the smelter on tho Majestic company's properties will go Into commission again before the end of December. Manager Freudcnthal Is quoted as having said that he Is now prepared to supply the com pany's furnace with all that Is required to keep It In steady operation for an Indefinite In-definite period. This, of course, has reference ref-erence to tho copper ores of the O. K. Bystem of mines, the argentiferous lead orcB containing somo gold to continue to come to tho furnaces of tho American Smoltlng and Keflnlng company. Tho condition of the properties Included In the company's holdings Is most favorable at this time to a steady production of both classes of ore, and while It may be required, re-quired, to appeal to other sources for mixes, this will entail but llttlo effort. The creditors In that locality have no doubt that tho balance of their claims will be liquidated as scheduled by President Mucklow; nor Is this any more gratifying than tho Improved outlook at the properties proper-ties and the positive assurance that they shall be again mado a source of steady employment, a source of perpetual revenue reve-nue to every Interest in that region. |
